Chanel installs a mascara vending machine at Selfridges

To mark the launch of its first ever volumising mascara -Le Volume de Chanel, the company has taken a different route of promotion by housing a mascara vending machine at Selfridges. It is available in three shades – Prune (a warm aubergine), Bleu (an intense denim blue), and Noir (a deep black). The mascara also uses a patented brush technology named “Snowflakes” which is made of stacked discs designed to coat, lengthen and separate lashes in combination with a quick drying formula.

Chanel does not cease to pamper it customers with just an interesting beauty vending machine, they will also be putting together a team of trained make-up artists offering complimentary eye makeovers. The idea is to find your perfect match before you put your money in the machine.
