Nike’s Air Jordan have been taken well by shoe connoisseurs all over the world. While we have seen quite a few iterations of the sneakers, almost none match the luxe appeal of the recently revealed Chicago styled Air Jordan 1. Designed by Daniel Jacob, the shoes spell class with a plethora of crystals emblazoned on them.
Jacob, who himself is a native of Chicago has crafted these Air Jordan 1’s with immense care, as can evidently be seen from the spic and span work on them. Embellished with over 15,000 hand set Swarovski crystals, the shoes are more ‘Chicago’ that you could ever imagine. They are also rightly dubbed as ‘Chicago Winter’ and display an eclectic theme of red and white that is hard not to be loved. The first look of the sneakers was shared by Jordan Brand employee Frank Cooker, on Instagram. However, per him, “These are literally luxury wearable pieces of art and the picture doesn’t do them any justice!”
Early this year, Jacob also crafted the $6500 gold-jeweled Air Jordan 1s,that quite literally took shoes lovers by a storm! The artist has also created several other custom sneakers that have won him well-deserved accolades in the past.
