London’s Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park and Harrods offer Christmas holiday package


Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, makes Christmas stylish and very chic as it has tied up with Harrods to help you live a fun-filled family Christmas vacation. The package will put on offer luxury stay options with “breakfast overlooking Hyde Park, special gifts courtesy of Harrods and renowned London perfumer, Ormonde Jayne, and a VIP family pass to see Father Christmas at the magical Harrods Christmas grotto.” While we’ll have to wait until Nov 26th to see Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park’s Harrods makeover for the season, reports suggest a “contemporary clay color scheme with claret red and cream poinsettias, all public areas of the hotel, including the marble Lobby, the Mandarin Bar and Bar Boulud, will be scattered with poinsettia and red berries and a selection of elegant, bespoke baubles to create an enchanting and magical ambiance”. A huge Christmas tree decorated with “Nordic-inspired decorations” will grace as the centerpiece of the year’s makeover.

The focus of the decoration will also involve children, who will bring the “real magic of Christmas” with a “confectionary Christmas tree” that will be placed at the hotel’s lower ground floor, between Bar Boulud and The Spa. You can expect handmade sweets and candy canes by Papabubble to dangle from the tree. On the other hand, the grownups can enjoy a special MO Rumble seasonal cocktail, priced at $26, at the Mandarin Bar. The cocktail will contain dark rum, Pernod, whole star anise, maple syrup, lemon juice, and cinnamon. The bar will also serve a $13 festive Chocolatina for kids. The package prices begin at $705 per night for two people.
