Waldorf Astoria is partnering with Lamborghini to give its guests the ride of a lifetime

Talk about treating your guest right! Even if they have to pay a high price (undoubtedly) for it, it is the thought that counts. Waldorf Astoria has partnered with Lamborghini to produce a package that is going to win plenty of brownie points from its clientele – to drive around in some of the rarest supercars on the planet – including the Huracán LP 580-2 and the Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder.

This is part of the Warldorf Astoria Driving experience, which the hotel group began in 2014. For the 2016 – 2017 program, guests can test drive the Lamborghini models at 12 of the hotel’s properties worldwide. During the 30-minute drive, guests can enjoy the landscapes’ views and scenes neighboring their chosen property. But, they wouldn’t be doing this alone, though. Lamborghini’s professional Italian drivers will accompany them during these outings. Else, can you imagine the trauma in case of a mishap?

Once back from these real sessions, guests can also enjoy a virtual tour of these touristic scenes from other Waldorf Astoria cities through 3-D simulation using Gear VR Oculus goggles. It is hard to understand the “experience” in something like this, though.

The first of the driving experience was held last week in Park City, Utah, in the US, during the 12th Annual Park City Food & Wine Classic. Next will be at Waldorf Astoria New York from September 8-11 during the US Open, which means guests could probably drive up to the twin towers and pay their respects. That would be nice. Then at Paris in October, Fort Lauderdale and Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah early November, and finally at UAE’s Ras Al Khaimah late November. It will also reach the hotel’s properties in Rome and Beijing.
