Christian Louboutin goes glam with ‘The India Wedding Edit.’ The wedding scene in India is nothing short of a festival, and it’s incomplete without a touch of gold! This dazzling capsule collection comprises 18 attractive pieces, showcasing a selection of the Maison’s icons. It features ten women’s shoe styles, six men’s shoe styles, and two handbags. Needless to say, the aesthetic is distinctly Indian, adorned in a gradient of metallic hues, from platinum to gold and bronze.
The collection’s highlight is a well-crafted and exquisite Super Jolie Queen, combining the queenie jewels on a 130-platform sole. On the other hand, the eternal and comfortable Mariza is Back mule looks striking with two upper bands and strass embellishing. The range gives Miss Sabina and Movida Sabina a slight makeover, rendering the Turela heel with a rounded back and sculpted curvature as opposed to the original block heel. Women love wedges, especially with all the dancing and endless festivities at Indian weddings, which makes the Pyraclou wedges a sought-after shoe.
Those metallic spikes add just the right amount of oomph that complements any elaborate outfit. Men dont need to feel left out as the Navy Coolito, Milkylion, and the Tassilo look incredible and party-ready, boasting warm tones on a velvet base. Next comes the iconic Paloma clutch reimagined as an occasion in itself with a simple flap front design with tone-on-tone spikes on the Loubinthesky motif. The India Wedding Edit will launch in Mumbai on October 20 and in New Delhi on October 28, when days to be remembered will be immortalized with a red sole to match.
