Italy beckons at JW Marriott Sahar with celebrated chefs and their Italian homecoming menu

JW Marriott Sahar is emerging as a favourite, go-to destination for occasions, meetings or date nights. But the highlight of this rather well-made property is its Italian restaurant called Romano’s which is being touted as one of the nation’s finest Italian eateries. Headed by Chef Roberto Zorzoli this place is a little piece of Italy in the heart of Mumbai city.  What’s got our taste buds’ salivating is a menu offering titled ‘An Italian Homecoming’. For food aficionados this menu is complete with traditional, robust Italian produce. It can’t get better than this unless you’re planning a trip to Italy soon. The two stalwarts collaborating are Chef Roberto Zorzoli, Head Chef Romano’s and Chef Roberto Apa Head Chef Bene at Grand Sheraton Bangalore. While the chefs are from two distinct regions of Italy, North and South, the menu they are planning will bring all of Italy on your plate.  One can expect dishes from regions like Milan, Padua, Recco, Parma, Florence, Emilia-Romagna, Salento, Sicilian Capri, Naples, Puglia, and Pantelleria.

It’s time to tantalize your taste buds by giving you a glimpse of what’s coming your way. The menu will bring you everything one expects on hearing the word, ‘Italy’.  Dishes like house-made pasta slow cooked guinea fowl, porcini, creamy truffle sauce, healthy and delectable handmade buckwheat gnocchi is part of the spread too. Joining the culinary celebrations are other specialties like creamy butter sauce and green vegetables, smoked parmesan and delicious risotto alla milanese e tartuf and orrechiette alla cime di rapa e cozze (handcrafted pasta orecchiette anchovies broccoli sauce mussels chilly and toasted almonds).
