Masque curates an all Plant Kitchen to celebrate World Earth Day


Mumbai’s pioneering fine dining restaurant, Masque where all the dishes are made from locally obtained ingredients and represents the spirit of botanical bistronomy by creating a seasonal menu. They are now raising the bar by collaborating with some of the most celebrated names in the field. Well known vegan chef Scott Winegard will join the team at Masque to create a 10 course vegetarian meal paired with the Belvedere Spritz collection that will be served fro dinner on 22nd April and lunch and dinner on 23rd April. Conscious Food will also be present with an array of organic produce.


This coincides with World Earth Day and Masque plans on installing a live Plant Kitchen, the ingredients from which will be utilized by Chef Winegard to prepare his dishes. His speciality of making most of every aspect of the plant in creating the wholesome, delectable vegetarian food is going to be a treat for the foodies who visit Masque on these two days.

To personalize the experience and make the diners feel part of the process, they will be encouraged to pluck fresh micro greens and herbs from the plant installations around the restaurant.

Winegard’s celebrated career includes stints at Noma, Nasturtium and as Chef de Cuisine of Pure Food and Wine in New York. He is famous for creating interesting dishes where the ingredients do more of the talking.

The meal will be priced at INR 7,000 plus taxes for the 10 course meal and 4 Belvedere cocktails. The amount might seem a bit steep but it promises to be worth every penny and an unforgettable experience.
