BMW M3 Concept zooms in Geneva

Since my teens, I have always fancied about a BMW. Although then I didn’t know the mechanical gravity of this car……but just the brand and its logo was enough to make me high. Today when I (consciously) write about them I realize how naïve my love was. Take a look at the latest offering from the – BMW M3 Concept. Similar to its M5 concept, M3 is also expected to be equivalent in production model. Unveiled today at the Geneva Motor Show, this latest M3 is powered by a V8 unit. Its tuned suspension, six-speed manual transmission, carbon fiber roof, and the entire exterior modifications are typical of an “M” car. This coupe has a horsepower estimated at about 425 and 450. It has made use of carbon-fiber for some of the body panels to cut unnecessary weight and lower the car’s center of gravity. Wide wheel arches, together with the forged 19-inch light-alloy rims in the classic Y-spoke design, emphasize the vehicle’s wide track.

Expected to hit the showrooms by 2008, the convertible variant will follow. Sadly the precise price tag is yet unclear.
