This 18-karat gold-plated version of the upcoming iPhone is priced at $127,000

British customization company Goldgenie, famous for making gold-plated versions of iPhones and other flagship smartphones, has listed on its website an 18-karat gold version of the yet-to-be-released successor of iPhone X. Goldgenie is calling the updated version which will be launched next month as iPhone Xs. The embellished smartphone named “Billionaire Solid Gold Edition” is priced at an eye-watering £100,000 (approximately $127,000) and can already be pre-ordered by paying half of that sum. With that kind of money, you can buy 100 units of iPhone X – that’s how expensive the Billionaire Solid Gold Edition is.

The customized Goldgenie iPhone will come with 256GB of storage and arrive in a luxury box with a cherry oak finish. Also included in the price is a 5-year membership to Goldgenie’s VIP Concierge service and a lifetime warranty. It should be noted that this listing should not be treated as a leak because Goldgenie has no formal agreement with Apple and there is no information available suggesting that the updated version of Apple’s flagship smartphone will be named iPhone Xs. The British company is known for making gold-plated iPhones and even recently came up with a 24-karat gold-plated iPhone X to commemorate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
