Stefano Canticelli’s bespoke Fiat 500 comes dressed in calf-skin leather

Cladding the interiors of a car with leather isn’t new, particularly in the luxury segment. However, this is probably one of the few cars you’ll come across that also uses leather on its exterior, and it isn’t a leather convertible hood we’re raving about. The bespoke Fiat 500 by the carmaker is as unique as it gets, with a beautiful calfskin-highlighted exterior that pays homage to Italian craftsmanship. The natural honey gold coloured leather has been treated to withstand the elements and is used to cover the wheel arches, the rear light clusters, headlights and the chrome plated whiskers too. The leather highlights are accented with a sky blue line, while a larger part of the car’s exterior comes in ‘Bossa Nova’ white.

Customized by Stefano Canticelli, this special Fiat 500 also sports a little picnic basket on its tailgate, made from the same leather used for the rest of the car’s exterior. Another noticeable feature here is the mahogany wood used for the mirror domes. Complete with a limited edition label stamped in the leather, the car borrows its bespoke design heavily from luxury yachts; it’s no surprise that this one was customized specially for the Monaco Boat Service.
