Paul Walker’s Fast and Furious Supra to be auctioned for $100k+

Though Paul Walker died a tragic death, ardent fans of the actor with pockets deeper than $150,000 can keep his memory alive by bidding for the orange 1993 Toyota Supra that featured in the first 2001 installment of ‘The Fast and The Furious’ franchise series. The Supra, that is the same one that Walker’s character Brian O’Connor drove in the movie, will be put up for sale this month by renowned auction house, Mecum Auctions; who estimate the sale price of the car to be somewhere between $150k to $200k.

Even though there were a lot of cars, some fancier than the other, that featured in the 7 movies of the series, this particular Supra stunt car will probably sell for nothing less than an exorbitant price like that only because it was actually driven by the late actor; who ironically died in a car crash. The Supra in question was designed and built by Eddie Paul, Hollywood’s go to guy for customized feature vehicles. For car fanatics, the car has a 2JZ-GE 3.0L/220 HP inline-6 engine and a 5-speed manual transmission along with its fiery orange paint and side designs.

The sale comes at a good time – while the world is still swooning over the latest Furious 7 that was a hit at the box-office a month ago after its release. The auction house’s 28th Original Spring Classic sale goes on from 12th May to 17th May at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.
