The Köln travel Kit, as it is called, comes with nine, travel-sized Aesop products for the skin, hair, body and teeth. These include the brand’s best-sellers such as the Classic Shampoo and Conditioner, Geranium Leaf Body Balm and Cleanser, Parsley Seed face products, Mouthwash, Toothpaste, and more, all neatly huddled up in a miniature Rimowa aluminum shell suitcase that further comes replete with the brand’s moniker embossed. The packaging takes inspiration from the Rimowa Travel Humidor and perfectly showcases the design aesthetic and quality of both the labels.
Commenting on the collaboration, Rimowa’s chief executive office – Alexandre Arnault said, “I have always admired Aesop as a brand, both for the quality of their products, and their overall design aesthetic, from packaging to stores.” He further stated that he is ‘Happy and proud’ to launch the first aluminum travel kit. The exclusive and limited edition Rimowa X Aesop Travel Kit will officially be launched on Oct 26 at a retail price of $540 USD.
