Strange. It’s not Dubai, but it is made of gold… made to eat and made for celebration. Pizza Hut (who woulda thought) is celebrating 50 years of treating USA to a road to heaven, after the cheeseburger. Pizza Hut is not an official sponsor but they are visionaries. They expect the Super Bowl 50 to scoop more than 2 million pizzas. The Sunday event will see 50 special edition gold-flaked pizzas in commemoration of the golden anniversary of the games. The stuffed Garlic Knots Pizza is topped with some $100 worth of edible 24-karat gold. The pizzas will come served in a golden box along with a gold $100 Pizza Hut gift card. So if you are watching the match come Sunday and wouldn’t mind some pizza and soda to satiate the frenzied adrenaline, then Pizza Hut can’t hurt. What if you get to swallow some gold dust, too. Dinner and a show, no?
The game will be held on February 7 at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
