Benetti Diamonds are Forever will be the longest boat of 2012 Cannes Boat Show

The prestigious Cannes Boat show is a phenomenon that has floored water toy connoisseurs for over 35 years. The important heritage is going to be crowned with a new yacht underway- The Benetti FB253 61m AKA Diamonds Are Forever. It is touted to be the longest boat of the 2012 Cannes Festival de la Plaisance and will make a presence at 2012 MYS on stage with two other epic yachts- Lyana (FB248, 60mt) and Illusion (FB246, 47mt). It is also going to be the longest yacht of the entire 35 years Cannes Boat Show life. The Diamonds Are Forever concept are crafted around the lines of innovative style solutions and traditional design elements. The top deck being customized to a private panoramic deck 12m above sea level, is one of the main attractions of the project, while spacious interior layout comprising of two panoramic master suites, four guest staterooms, a guest elevator and a full beam sky lounge qualify as other perks.

The Boat provides accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins and 15 crew members in 8 cabins. The Benetti Diamonds are Forever reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots and an oceanic range of 4,800 nautical miles at 12 knots.
