With only 20 pieces produced, Burberry’s the Britain Icon Check for Men Limited Edition should be your must-have watch this season

We’ve seen Burberry’s signature checks on everything from scarves, coats and umbrellas to eyewear, makeup and even a building! Now the brand has reinvented the graphic print into an uber cool grid dial for their latest timepiece. Burberry’s the Britain Icon Check for Men (Limited Edition) boasts a 45 mm polished and brushed anthracite DLC-treated titanium case and an AR-coated sapphire crystal, it’s also water resistant upto 50 meters.

Inside, a modified Swiss manual-wind ETA caliber 2878, with 17 jewels, beats at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 42 hours. The openwork grid also crafted from anthracite, offers glimpses of the watch’s movement and the Côtes de Genève decoration.

burberry-britain-icon-check-collection-1A black alligator leather with a folding clasp completes the look. The black hands of the watch have the usual functions (Hours, minutes, seconds) and the date features at 4 0’ clock.

Designed by Christopher Bailey himself, the watch is a part of the brand-new the Britain Icon Check collection. The watch combined British design with Swiss watchmaking technology, bringing the best of both worlds to this unique timepiece.
