Pierre Hotel’s presidential suite is New York City’s most expensive apartment at $500,000 a month

Your favorite sitcoms always make it seem like living in NYC is as easy as pie. But in real life, it may be easier to find a needle in a haystack than to find a good apartment in the Big Apple. But now, the luxe Pierre Hotel is making its entire 39th floor available to home hunters looking for a long lease. And all for the incredibly low price of $500,000 a month! What a steal!

pierre-hotel-presidential-suite-4Full disclosure: it’s not actually a steal. But it does include the presidential suite of a luxury hotel, so what do you expect? And the suite is just part of the deal! In addition to the Presidential Suite, renters will also be given access to other rooms on the floor, resulting in a total of 4,786 square feet of living space, with six bedrooms and 6½ bathrooms. Renters will also have access to amenities including room service from the two in-house restaurants, housekeeping and butler service, in-room spa treatments, and the option to rent the Pierre’s private Jaguar. You can also bring your pet pooches along provided they weigh less than 15 lbs.

Is $500,000 a tad over budget? You can also rent out just the two bedroom Presidential suite for $400,000 a month or snag a short term stay for $20,000 a night. The Pierre Hotel Residences program offers some pretty flexible stay options from renting on a month on month basis to simple paying per night for as long as you need.
