The champion of fashionable and chic high-end living, Barbie has listed her bright-pink Dreamhouse for a shocking $25 million for the first time in 41 long years. The ultra glamorous 8,500-square-foot, three-story mansion is the ultimate bachelorette pad and boasts of pink crown moldings, pink interiors, private elevator, a full-floor master suite with an enormous shoe closet, diamond-encrusted accents, a never-ending view of the ocean and Malibu’s only self flushing toilet and a fireplace that crackles even when it’s not on! The Dreamhouse is being marketed exclusively on Trulia by real estate agent Josh Altman.
Barbie’s Dreamhouse is of course a plastic toy and is a part of Mattel’s year-long global brand campaign. It is unclear what else the brand has in store or what Barbie’s next Dreamhouse will look like, though we are sure it will be bigger and better. While the gimmick is all in good fun, one can’t help but point out that this is bound to give young Barbie-lovers an unrealistic view of what real life is all about.
