Jaguar celebrates the success of the F-Type with a special edition


The Jaguar F-Type is one of the best designed automobile in the world, launched in 2012 it’s curves and performance has won many a accolades for the British carmaker (owned by Tata Motors). To celebrate the roaring success that the F-Type has had the company has unveiled a limited edition, nicked the British Design edition it has the car draped in colors and accessories that are inspired by the Union Jack. It will receive British Design edition badging on the front and rear along with the headrests, treadplates and the carbon-fiber center console. The interior has been outfitted in jet leather with complimenting red, blue and ivory color stitching. Contrasting the bright colors will be the 20 inch Cyclone wheels with satin dark finish.


The F-Type British Design edition will be powered with a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 petrol churning out 375 hp and 460 nM or torque, it will be mated to a eight ZF automatic transmission in rear or all wheel drive configurations with Super Performance Braking System as standard. Although performance enthusiasts will miss the 5.0 litre V8 engine under the hood. The British Design edition will be available this spring starting at 75,225 GBP ($ 110,500) for the Coupe and 80,390 GBP ($ 118,000) for the Roadster.
