Fancy a Nikon DF DSLR camera wrapped in 24K gold?

The first name the pops up in my mind when I think of gold-plated iPhones is Brikk. We have seen an endless stream of gilded Apple products and accessories from the American couture manufacturer in the last few years, but this time Brikk is about to launch a gold-plated product which is neither made by Apple nor is it a smartphone. Yes, the company is already accepting orders for gold-plated iPhone 6 but along with it, the Los Angeles based brand is planning to release a 24K gold version of Nikon DSLR camera. If you find the $2,750 pricing of the Nikon Df too expensive, then this one is definitely not for you.

The announcement was made by Brikk via Facebook a couple of days back but the company chose not to give too much information on it. All we know is that it is a luxe version of the Nikon Df camera and Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8 lens wrapped in 24k gold. The camera is set to go on sale in November of 2014 with a price of “available upon request.” PetaPixel reports that the pricing of the camera+lens kit might start at 30k.
