Now Sabyasachi will make a global impact starting with this pop-up that will include Indian wear such as saris and lehengas, fine jewelry, and more. In fact, Bergdorf’s will also mark the global launch of the Sabyasachi handbag collection enhanced with embroidery and unique motifs, ranging from $234 to $1,790. Similarly, Sabyasachi fine jewelry will also be part of the pop-up with Bergdorf range starting at about $5,000 and go up to $348,000. In India, Sabyasachi jewelry has seen incredible growth with the segment contributing to 40 percent of his company’s turnover. With all of Bollywood’s power couples sporting his fine jewels, his jewelry has caught the public eye too. Sabyasachi said, “It is one thing to include a designer but another to include a country in the store. With this collection, I am speaking to a mixed global consumer — and it is also recognition of the changing consumer by Bergdorf Goodman.
