I love watching reruns and my all-time favorite is Knight Rider. Kind of reminding you of the cool cars that Bond uses, KITT was special because he could talk and had a sense of humor. Michael Knight’s hit pair KITT is up for sale. This one is one of the four documented “camera cars” used for close-up shots and scenes where David Hasselhoff, was behind the wheel. Sadly this car does not do all that screen personification did, heck its not even street legal because of missing smog equipment and other modifications. The only gratification is that the red scanner light on the nose glows and makes a humming noise. The car has two working video screens on the dashboard, and the cockpit features buttons that light up in green, yellow, and red: ski mode, rocket boost, micro jam, silent mode, oil slick and eject.
The 1982 Pontiac Knight 2000 is being sold by Kassabian Motors in Dublin, California for $149,995.
