Chelsea Clinton purchases New York’s longest apartment for $10 million


While New York City’s real estate prices tend to be among the highest in the world, it does not have a dearth of buyers who pay a premium for the right apartment or mansion. Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former U.S. president Bill Clinton has just purchased what is being touted as New York’s longest apartment. The $10 million apartment stretches from 26th street to 27th street off Madison Avenue, in the heart of the city. In fact, the lengthy apartment is being described as a luxury fortress that requires 30 seconds to walk the 250 foot hallway. The apartment has 4 bedrooms and an area of 5,000 square-feet.


The 90 year old apartment is located in the Whitman building and is marketed by Douglas Elliman Real Estate. The building also has a lu7xury penthouse, which is expected to cost $22.5 million and Chelsea is one of the two people interested in buying it. Chelsea Clinton and husband Marc Mezvinsky will enjoy six and half bathrooms, den, 252 square planting terrace, storage unit and a home office. The apartment certainly shall give all the walking exercise that Chelsea and her husband will ever need in their lives to remain healthy.
