Selfridges London launches personal shopping service exclusively for men

Should you wear a tie with seersucker suit? What shades of blue trousers are best with light-brown shoes? Whether you’re looking for a complete new wardrobe, style overhaul, gifts, accessories or grooming products; Selfridges London has a dedicated personal shopping service to do all the hard work for you while you sit and relax at its personal shopping suite. From a cup of coffee to a complimentary chauffeur home, the five-star shopping experience also includes made-to-measure services.

This exclusive service is lead by Joe Ottaway, one of London’s leading Men’s stylists who joined the high-end department store in 2011 and has seen a growing demand for the bespoke service from its male clientele. “Our menswear business has expanded at a rate which we could never have predicted a few years ago. There’s a strong appetite amongst our male clients to experience a service that informs everything we do,” Joe Ottaway was quoted as saying.

The menswear floor in Oxford Street – comprises three elegant private suites, a reception area and a lobby space complete with floor-to-ceiling library. The 1,200 square foot suite was designed by Alex Cochrane, and was inspired by a New York style loft aesthetic – featuring modern fine art including Damien Hirst pieces.
