This incredibly detailed Bugatti Chiron Lego set can be yours for just $350

If you’re a collector of scale model cars, Lego has released a new kit which you wouldn’t want to miss. The company has followed up its fantastic Porsche 911 GT3 RS Technic kit with a 1/8 scale set of the Bugatti Chiron. The completed Chiron Lego set measures a full 22-inches long, 9-inches wide, and 5-inches tall, making it quite big in size. Consisting of 3,599 pieces, almost 1000 more than the Porsche sports car, the Bugatti Chiron Technic set is incredibly detailed and includes a long list of functional features of the hypercar.

The Lego set features a W16 engine that comes with moving pistons. The motor is coupled to a working eight-speed gearbox with moving paddle shifters. Despite the fact that it’s very difficult to mirror the curves of the aerodynamic bodywork with Lego pieces, the set does a great job at rendering the shape of the French hypercar and even comes with an active rear wing. The Lego set also includes the Chiron’s famous “speed key,” which in the real car gives the driver the access to maximum performance. The Bugatti Chiron Lego Technic set is only being offered in one color – Bugatti’s historic dual tone color scheme of light and dark blue. Priced at $350, it’s available through Lego stores both physical and online right now, and hits other stores on August 1.
