Of the fact that a perfectly polished nail makes us feel instantly more chic, pulled together and confident. I could totally relate to that after my recent visit at Brushes and Strokes in Mumbai.
Whether you are in need of a quick fix or want something a little more indulgent, I figured that this one offers an experience with cutting edge technology and ambience, making your experience as unique as each of the bespoke services.
The architecture of the space itself is embedded with elite interiors. When asked, I was told that the interior for Brushes & Strokes has been designed by FSO Architect. The team shared the idea behind using white and rose gold as a theme for Brushes & Strokes was to create an aesthetic space that’s soothing, relaxing, and visually pleasing to the eyes. And rightly, I did experience a sense of calm as I walked into the nail bar.
In terms of services, Brushes & Strokes offers silky gel nails, a variety of manicures, beautiful acrylic extensions, and mesmerising nail art. I tried the gel nail art which was done to the tee. It definitely did glam up my nails. My nail technician gave me the perfect glittery nails and got my brief absolutely right. Post that, I tried the foot massage. The technique of my therapist was spot-on. She concentrated perfectly on the pressure points and was extremely intuitive with the massage. The pressure was perfect and I felt rejuvenated to the core post my session. I couldn’t try a pedicure-something that my companion did. And we could definitely see a difference in her feet. She mentioned that they felt silken soft and supple with significant reduction in tan.
Brownie points to the little bites served to us-mini pastries and tarts that definitely add a notch up to the overall experience. However, the soul of the salon are the skilled technicians. It is evident that they have been trained to provide visitors a luxurious haven. They turned the pamper session into a magical half hour of heaven. I was told that the space also offers eyelash extensions, skin detox treatments with all natural ingredients, and calming foot and head massages.
Having recently opened, in the midst of all this uncertainty, one thing is for certain, it was pretty evident hygiene is a top priority. Sanitization between clients, use of disposables, regular temperature and oxygen checks for the staff were definitely adhered to well by this glam salon.
We were told that Brushes & Strokes also organizes events like bridal showers, spa days, kitty parties, and kid spa birthdays wherein the experts plan your fun day of pampering, complete with gourmet bites, delicate desserts and beverages. Keeping mind the times, Brushes & Strokes is also extending its services to offer at home nail experiences, so that you can primp, without lifting a finger, literally. We left the nail spa heaven, spoiled to the core and are rooting for the prep, polish and pamper experience provided by the space. We heartily recommend it!
