The 74-year-old took to Instagram by posting the original article from Page Six (that broke the news of his membership) by calling it false. He wrote, ‘I would like to say to everyone that this never happened. This is just not true. It NEVER ever happened.’

Stallone further added, ‘I mean no disrespect to anyone, I’m simply not a member. So, Keep Punching Folks.’ The statement was also confirmed by the celebrity’s representative, who said, ‘Contrary to media reports and rumors, Sylvester Stallone is officially not a member of the Mar-a-Lago Club. He did not join the organization; he did not pay initiation dues.’

Twitter was full of critical remarks on the news of Stallone joining the Mar-a-Lago. ‘Sad to see that Sly Stallone is joining Mar-a-Lago. Must have taken too many shots to the head while filming the 86 different Rocky movies,’ a user stated, while another added, ‘And Sylvester Stallone outs himself as a white supremacist by supporting one.’

With the official clarification out, we hope Twitterati now spares him the condemnation!
